Sometimes emergencies call for extra duty. When a unit that was supposed to close in four days got flooded, I brought my tools and started helping rip up the floors. With the help of some vendors I got into the unit pronto, we were able to close only a couple of days later than we were scheduled.
A native New Yorker, I have a can-do personality and bring a construction and finance background to the team. The construction helps clients see potential in properties that might not fit their immediate needs and an ability to show sellers how to maximize their homes' potential. My financial background is an invaluable tool in my ability to negotiate for both buyer and seller.
I walk with a cane because I have had MS for most of my lifetime, but I never let it slow me down
Away from work, I enjoy golf and traveling to my North Carolina home. I also love to cook, and I've become a great fan of local craft beers.
In 1997, when I first moved to this area, I saw the potential that St. Petersburg offered. Through a series of contacts, I was involved in several "firsts" for real estate in downtown St. Petersburg. I worked with architect Tim Clemmons on Straub Court, one of the first new construction projects in the city's downtown core. Since then, I have worked with various builders on several new construction projects: Delmar, Eagle's Court, Las Ventanas, Arlington Lofts and Charles Court.
Now I am involved in commercial real estate in downtown St. Petersburg, helping to bring new businesses to St. Petersburg's burgeoning retail, office and arts districts. Helping create vibrant new spaces is a real kick.
And I continue to specialize in Old Northeast neighborhood homes, since I make my home at Poplar and 16th Avenue NE. There is no place I'd rather be living.
I could tell you I have been doing this for more than 25 years and that I was recently given a Lifetime Achievement Award from RE/MAX, but that's not what I want you to know about me. This is what I want you to take away from this page: When you work with me, you get a tenacious, can-do, honest person who will listen to what you want and will work diligently with you. I'm not a sugar-coater. What I can promise is that I will always "keep it real" for you.
